He shook his head. "What on earth do you do, boy?"
Link humphed. "Can you just fix it?"
"Alright, alright." He came around and inspected the bike. "Jeez, what'd ya do it it?"
"No comments, please," Link muttered.
Finally he straightened up. "Well, the damage isn't too bad, there's nothing long term. But it's gonna cost ya a pretty penny."
Link sighed. "Fine. When can you have it done?"
He looked thoughtful. "Hm...tomorrow morning at latest. You can pick it up then."

Spyro laughed. "I kinda thought you might say that."

Cid smiled at Spyro. "Don't think i've ever seen you around. Names Cid of Traverse Town." He stuck his hand out.

Spyro took his hand with his paw. "Name's Spyro. I'm from the Dragon Realms."

"Nice ta meet ya, Spyro. Good that you're here; maybe you can keep an eye on this kid." He grinned at Link.
Link rolled his eyes. "We get it, gramps."
Cid fumed. "Gramps?!" and then grumbled in undertone, "First Sora, then you....no respect..."
We left the garage, and i smirked at Spyro. "It's fun to set him off like that."

"Sora, he's the Keyblade master, right?"

Link nodded. "He's a good kid. Good at heart."
He stretched his arms to the sky. "Sooo...what do you want to do now?"

Spyro closed his eyes. "I don't know. But I remember Sora. I fought with him once." He opened his eyes. "I wonder if he made it back to the island?"

Link frowned and stared at the sky. "Ya know, i wonder that, too. Hope everything's alright."
I heard footsteps, and went on alert. "Hide!" i hissed to Spyro, and turned to see who was coming.

Spyro hid under a table nearby.

A small gang of boys came walking up, and Link recognized them. Some of them were on the football team.
"Ooh, hey, fellas lookie here!" one of them called. "It's pretty-boy Link!"
They started laughing and jeering. Link pretended to ignore them.
The same one who pointed him out planted his feet right in front of Link.
"So how come we didn't see you at try-outs?" he sneered.
"Um, maybe because i don't want to go brain-dead?"

Spyro stayed under the table, listening to the conversation. Who are these guys, other heroes? It doesn't look like they're one of us.

The dude grabbed Link by the collar of his hoodie. "That real funny, Green. You mind saying that again?"
Among the disgusting odor of his breath, he smelled black magic. Ganondorf.
"Would you put me down, please?" he asked in the most politest way he could muster.
The guy laughed. "You hear that? The weeny is asking for me to let him go!" The others started laughed.
Link gripped his arm and squeezed.
"Put...me...down," he growled, shooting him with an icy glare.

A small growl escaped from Spyro. He felt the dark magic, too.

The guy was so surprised he dropped Link immediately, rubbing his arm. A dark bruise was already forming where he squeezed. "You little punk!" he yelled, and charged, throwing a punch at him.
Link ducked with practiced speed and ballance and swung his legs out, tripping him. The guys head hit the asphault and knocked him out cold. Link took a boxer's stance and looked at the others.
"Anyone else?"
Apparently the guy knocked out was the leader. They quickly gathering the unconscious guy up and left.
"Jerks," Link muttered after them, and gave Spyro the all-clear.

OOC: hey, i'll be back on around 5:00. Dad wants to play RockBand II.

OOC: It is 5:00, genius.


Spyro sqiurmed out. "Who were they?"

OOC: oh. I meant 6:00, then

"Just some school punks," Link said, still glaring. But on the inside he was concerned. There was no doubt Ganondorf was planning something. He even wondered if he had sent them.

"They had the scent of evil on them. I wonder why?"

"Ganondorf," he answered. "Some of them are on the football team. I wonder what's up."

Spyro shook his head. "We may never know."

"Yeah."
Suddenly Link perked up, and grinned. "Hey. You in the mood for a human game called dodgeball?"

"Dodgeball? Never heard of that game before."


OOC: Young Link- Let's play parasole!

"Well, of course not, doofus. It's an Earth game. It's quite fun though. I know a bunch of our people who'd join in. Ever met the Mario bros.?"

"Heard of, never met. I'll go see if Cynder wants to join, too."

"Alright! I'll go around and gather everyone. Meet us back at HQs and we'll go to the underground courtyard."

OOC: i seemed to be obsessed with underground places for some reason.
