OOC: What can they talk about? I mean, it is your RPG, and they can't really do anything. remember, i don't know your world that well. Of course, I imagine Soul as kind of

OOC: Well, Sephen could ask about Adriane since they just met him and I'm sure he finds him a little weird for a king. I'm trying to keep you active and not completly dominate the whole thing

OOC: Ack, fine. Let me think of something.

Sephen looked at Drey. "So, is he the king? Like, seriously?" he asked when out of earshot.

"Yeah, " Drey said, and grinned. "Kind of a weirdo isn't he? Doesn't seem like he fit to be king. But...when it get's right down to it, he the best for the job."

"So, he's your brother?" Soul asked.

"Yep. Though actually he's my half-brother. His mom is actually from a tribe alliance somewhere near the Border, close to the crags. He's a full dragon prince...er, King now."

OOC: Um... now what?

OOC: Hang on, i lost my mojo. I plan on skipping on ahead past the whole Elders meeting thing to the parting with Soul, but I need to get that going in my head again. gotta get my mojo back.

OOC: Alright, I'll wait.

*Drey led Soul to the room where the Elders resided, and, giving directions to just remain calm and don't let them scare him, gave him a light push into the room and waited outside. The cross-examination went well, and while there were those that did not agree, there were enough on the council that approved of Soul being protected as a dragon to sway the others. To Drake, Sephen, and Venge, it was a happy day to see their friend given the protection he deserved after long years of attacks, and they were able to part ways with smiles and the promise to meet again.
Months passed by as the apprentice furthered their training, with the goal of honing their skills to absolute perfection. Their hard work was soon rewarded; they would be going on their first real life-endangering mission.*

Drake landed lightly on a tree branch, human, and as silent and invisible as a ninja. He was the scout for their group, one of the most dangerous position to be. The five others, all scattered about behind him plus his dad, were all currently mind-linked to him, recieving every information he relayed back to them.
So far it's clear; no sign of the drakes yet.
Keep your senses open, all of you, and stay alert,Drey said. We have to find the drake nest and destroy them before they cause harm to the surrounding settlements.

Sephen looked at his brother, Resuyo, who was trembling with excitement, and then looked up at Drey. Should we split up?

OOC: So, are they going to get attacked by drakes and Soul will help or something?

OOC: Nope, they're going to meed Dragomir and Moon.

Drey nodded. You two take the east flank and keep a watch out, but stay close. some of the creatures in this wood can be unpredictable.
Sadiir and Rengei moved just as stealthfully, making not a sound, north of where Drey was. Sadiir was resolved to be the one to show them up today by slaying his first drake, and planned to do it efficiently and without out a scratch.

OOC: btw, they're in the Northern Woods, which is where Drey's secret spot is located. The Dragon Monestery is also on the southern edge of the woods, which is nearby where they're at. That's why they're here. Oh, and if you could start thinking of DragonKnight codenames for Resuyo and Sephen if you want. Like Drey's is Storm and Rikko is Cloud, etc.

OOC: Hm, alright, I'll think of something, but maybe later. They haven't told me their elements yet.

Sephen and his brother took the east side as ordered, being careful not to move too quickly. Every now and then, Resuyo would stop and look around, making sure they weren't being followed.

Drey kept tabs on everyone, detirmined not to have any casualties.
Sadiir, hows your end?
It looks good. No sign or scent of- wait a minute.
Everyone tensed. What is it? Drey demanded.
Sadiir sent the scent to him, a little scared. There's something not right in the forest around here...
Drey tensed, recognizing the scent. It's a Fury, get out of there now!

Resuyo and Sephen didn't have to be told twice. They immediatley rushed back to Drey's side, their scales on end in fear.

Drake was closest to Sadiir, and sensed it too. It's very aura gave him chills. But Sadiir wasn't moving.
What are you doing?! Drake called to him, just as there was a rustling in the bushes. His hair stood up on end and suddenly he was very, very scared.
Drake? He didn't quite hear his dad.
"Drake, move!" Sadiir snarled and lept out at the Fury coming out of the bushes with a silver katana. Rengei came in on the other side.

Sephen raced over to where Sadiir was, and he didn't hear his brother calling for him to come back. Dang it, Sadiir, why are you so stupid?!

Drake snapped out of his daze and focus again, following Sadiir's pattern and pulled out his kunai, the weapon he found to be the most comfortable for him. He's not being stupid, not entirely. The things already here, we'll just be dead if we try to run at this point!
Venge caught up with them and fell into pattern. With practice precision they actually managed to overwelm the black Fury. Drake darted around at high speeds, gaining it's attention with their attacks whilte Venge attacked from behind to draw it away from it's front.
Stab it in the chest, Sephen! Rengei said.

Sephen came in at lightning speed, and threw his knife at the Fury's chest when he had a good view of the target point and knew he wouldn't miss.

The Fury cried out in pain and stumbled back, paralyzed. Drake did a mental cheer. They did it...they actually have a chance of winning...!
Sadiir leaped in and kick the Fury to the ground, then, with a battle-cry roar, lifted his blade to deliver the final blow.
"Whoa, whoa, hold on a second!"
Everyone froze in place as Drey stopped Sadiir's blade and held the others back. Sadiir stared at him in astonished horror.

Sephen looked at Resuyo, who just shrugged.

Rengei came up to him in confusion. "Sir, what you are doing?!"
"Just hold on a minute," Drey, said, raising a hand for him to stop, then looked at the Fury. "Dragomir?"
His blood-red eyes lit up in reconition and the Fury smiled. "I thought I sense you nearby. You've trained your apprentices well."
Drey laughed and let go of Sadiir. "It's alright, guys. This is an old friend." He reached down to pulled the dagger out of his chest, then took his claw and pulled him up.
Sadiir looked almost as if he were about to cry. "But...but...!"
Drey smiled at him. "Hey, you do did good. All of you. You guys actually took down a Fury."

Sephen chuckled. "See? I told you we could do it."
Resuyo just scoffed.

"Wait, if he's an old friend, then...was this all just a set-up?" Rengei demanded.
"No," Dragomir answered for him. "I was not expected you all in these woods. You got me by surprise."
"Which brings me to this," Drey crossed his arms. "What are you doing out here, Dragomir?"

OOC: I'll post the rest in a sec; i gotto go eat dinner.
