The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

He clutched his head. "I don't know! I don't know..." I glanced back. Poor kid.
"C'mon, Seth. Whatever he decides will have to come later. We can't leave this world yet anyway."

I took my hand back. "Make up your mind, but do it quick. We won't be staying that long." And with that, I left.

*some comotion happend outside and a guard flew by the door and hit the wall unconcius then kain poked is head in*

K: we might want to go now

I followed behind Seth quickly and out the door.
Except I never made it out the door.
An invisible force-field suddenly knocked me back into the room and out of breath, leaving Seth and Kain on the other side.

K: what the?
*kain tried to break threw but could not*
K: what is this

I got back up. "I don't know." I hammered my fist against it, but was thrown back again, into a wall. And this time it hurt. Why isn't it doing this to them?
"It's a dragon ward," said Garth, walking up to us and holding was looked like a tazor stick. "It keeps all dragons from going through, and keeps humans not authorized from entering as well."

K: hey kid whats with the tazer

Garth stared at me hard. "It's to protect myself."
Then it clicked. "You've called for the guards."

"Why you little!" I was enraged. "Call your master in here! I want a face-to-face chat with him!"

K: you little turd if you dont open this door right now your dead when i get in there

"There's no need to call; I am right here."
I turned my head, and there was the guy again. The one from earlier. Garth froze in surprise and dropped to his knees.
"S-s-sir!!"

I started growling. "So, you're the one who's behind this nonsense." I didn't recognize him, but his aura... It was intimidating.

*kain looked at the master*
K: hey remember me i'm the one who left those boot print marks on your face hehehe

"Nonsense?" the Master laughed. "This is simply our way of survival. Otherwise our race would have never been able to survive." He ignored Kain.
"But the way you are treating the dragons have gone too far," I growled at him. he looked at me in surprise.
"I never come across a species like yours," he said, ignoring what i just said. "It's been a long time since dragons knew the language of men. And from what I glimpsed from you, you're definitely no ordinary dragon."
"And you're obviously no ordinary human," I spat.
He smiled. "Yes, I've been blessed with great gifts since the shifting god had visited us."

K: i dont understand how you NEED them to be your slaves and pets whats the avantage over just living equaly

"Complete control must be present, or else they become a danger to our race; they provide power and convienance for our citizens, not to mention companions. Would you newcomers really want to take that away?"

K: no matter how you put it it's still basicly slavery so yes

He just shook his head. "No matter. You shall be dealt with later. First, I want to see this one's power." He took a step towards me.
I took a step back. "You really don't want to be doing that."
"Oh, but I do."
I shrugged. "You're funeral," i said, then side swiped him, dashing under his arm.
"Get him!"
Garth stood before me, tazer stick poised. He was trembling; something told me he had never actually had to do this before.
"Kid, I really don't want to hurt you," I said.

*kain was slaming into the force field slowly breaking it down*

OOC: Wait for me, idiots!

"Stay away from Dreyden!" I hissed, standing in front of the master. I connected my mind to Garth's and growled, Don't do it, or we'll all be killed. I kept my eyes on the master and growled, "Who the hell are you?"

OOC: Lol, sorry!

Garth trembled more. I had no time to wait and see what he'd do; I had to find a way out.
He swung reflexivly as I lunged past him. The stick hit me, and did something I didn't expect. I knew it wouldn't hurt me, because electricity has no effect on me. But it wasn't electricity. It was some sort of energy. It didn't hurt or paralyze me, but the next thing I knew I was transforming into my dragon form, and it began to get really cramped inside.
Both Garth and the Master's eyes bugged out. "Huge...!"
Then the building started crumbling.

"Uh oh." I looked to Kain. "Dude, let's bolt!"

K: weel never make it down in time we halft to jump
*kain busted a window*

I rolled my eyes. I then looked to Garth. "Now or never! Choose a side!"

*the roof was cracking*
