The Misadventures of Seth and Drey: Part Two

I nodded and stood back up. "Then lead the way."

I nodded back, and closed my eyes for a moment, searching. It took me no more than a second to sense it. "This way," I said, leading the way.

I followed, bringing up the rear.

K: ok lets do this

OOC: just saying this incase needed Kain is hooked by his right arm and Drey by his left

OOC: Okay, left arm. He does need to get free eventually on this world just fyi, cus there something i want to do and it requires drey to be detatched from kain.

A short distance away I put my hand up, ready to open the force field, when a thought hit me. I can't go into the Monastery looking as I am. Even though I'm way older than the past me now, everyone here knows me and will recognize me in an instant. That would be more catastrophic than if Kain had saved Seth from dying in the river.

I came up beside Drey. "You want me to go instead?"

OOC: tell me when and i'll unhook them

K: well are we going in or what?

"Well...we need desguises, and I need to change my entire appearance. THis isn't going to be like Seth's homeworld. This place especially is security tight. Seth will be fine because we don't know about shapeshifters. He'll be mistaken for a human sorceror or something. But you, Kain, will be a huge problem." While I talked I ran through my memories, trying to think of something that could get us in.

"Okay, so what can I do to help?"

K: i could try to hide my scent

"That wouldn't work. Dragons could sniff out Lycan scent faster than I can zap someone. But all you really need to do Seth is hide your aura, at least your dark aura. Anything threatening-feeling will alert the DragonKnights immediately." Then suddenly I had an idea. a grin spread across my face It was perfect too. There was a secret supply stash nearby, one only a DragonKnight would be about to find.

I looked at Drey oddly. "Why are you grinning?"

I looked at seth, still grinning. "Follow me; I'm going to make you guys into DragonKnights."

"Oh god, why do I not like this idea?"

K: hello i can only turn into a lycan i cant turn into a dragon how is this suposed to work

"Well, I'm not going to make you guys literally into DragonKnights. That would take centuries of training even if you were the right species. I'm going to make you guys look like DragonKnights. They're feared even here around this time, so no one would think twice about messing with us." Unless Darren is here, I added to myself.
I found the hutch with the supplies and opened it. It appeared as if out of nowhere. Everything I need was there, as if it's whole purpose for existing was to help me out at this moment. i tossed them both a set of gear. "Put these on."

"Hm, and I expected heavy amror." I said, puttng them on.

I chuckled. "We don't need protection as much as skill. Armor hinders movement and reaction time. As long as we move fast enough, an enemy can't land a blow for armor to be nesessary." I attempted to pull on a suit of my own, the cuff on my left wrist making it difficult. "And it's one-size-adjust-to-fit-all, so no worries about size."

"Aw man, then I lost weight for nothing."

K: this feals just down right weird... i'm not used to wearing tight clothes

I ignored both of them and opened an old-fashion chest. Inside were three rings. I tossed them both one; I wouldn't need one.
"These will hide your aura; it's standard for trainees, so you'll fit right in. Although this will still look conspicuous." I held up my left arm, dragging Kain's right hand with me. "So if you can find that key now, that would be helpful."

K: fine

*Kain starts searching therw the magic bag, he searches for about ten minute*

K: i dont get it i've gone threw every key i've had... wait a sec

*Kain looks over at dreys arm*

K: oh god you've got to be kiding!... the key has been in Dreys cuff the whole time

*the key was sticking out of the lock*

My arms flopped down and I stared incrediously. "You've got to be kidding me."

"Wrong one." I chuckled, and pulled a key from out of my hair. "Or maybe I should just stop embarassing you two and give back the key, eh?"

K: so even if we did notice that Seth had the real one
