Darren saw the mark on Seth's chest, then looked back at me. I was annoyed. He was comparing.
"What's yours from?" he asked with all innocence and curiosity.

"All three of these scars are from Cyrus when I betrayed him. They can not go away, for they were a warning from him. Of course, I never heeded it." Shylo rolled his eyes and whispered, "That's Seth for ya." "I'm right here, you know!"

He nodded. "That brings us back to our present situation. I don't know if you know or not, but-"
I cut him off. "He knows about Darcore coming back. But before we officially get started with the hunt for him, I want to see Kira."
"Of course. She needs to see you to." I was surprised to hear this from Dad. He didn't exactly approve of Kira first. "Also, at the moment none of us can do anything; there hasn't been any attacks, and no sign of him since the last inspection."

"Okay, who's Darcore aleady?" I was kind of growing impatient.

Everyone grew silent. It was up to me.
"Darcore was my old master. He's the one who gave me the Fury. Actually, it didn't become the Fury until after Darren was able to surpress it. Before that, it was me. All the time."

"Sounds worse than Cyrus." Shylo said quietly. I just nodded weakly. The mood in the room was gloomy, so I cheerfully asked, "Say, who's Kira?" Shylo chuckled a little.

Suddenly i laughed. "Oh, you've got to meet her! She'll love you." I turned to Darren and Dad.
"Go on." They both laughed.
"I'm staying here," Falcon said.
"Why? You disappeared too. She'll want to see you."
He figetted, and then caved. "Alright! But i ain't givin no hugs."
I laughed, and said, "Alright, follow me, Seth."

I looked at Shylo. He sighed. "Alright, I'll come." I smiled, then followed Drey. We both turned into our cat forms.

I grabbed a new shirt before we left (since Darren ripped my other one!). As we walked down the corridor, i saw them turn to cats. "Um, you might want to turn back into dragons unless you can fly as felines. The monastary isn't in the Keep."

OOC: I just watched a trailer for Kingdom hearts III! Wow!

"Oh, woops." We turned back to dragons. "Good thing we don't have limited magic!" Shylo laughed. I sniffed in agreement.

I grinned again, and led the way to the drop- off and jumped, Falcon and Cloud right behind me.

Shylo jumped ahead of me, and I went last, enjoying the breeze that blew in my face and around my wings.

I transformed in mid-air and caught wind under my wings. I felt so good at the moment. I was in the air, Seth was here, and i was on my way to see Kira again, after so long.
Land zipped by underneath us, the human cities and territories subtely turning into Dragon territory. Me being in the lead opened up the barrier and let the others in. Pretty soon the Monastary was in sight.

"Is this it?" Shylo asked, almost losing his balance in the air from excitement. "Calm down, bro, you might hurt yourself." "I'm a Shapeshifter, doofus."

"Yeah," i said and took a dive, landing infront of the gates. The watchman gave a start, then smiled when i transformed into human.
"Your majesty! Welcome back." He saw the others land with me. "And with guest! I take it you're here to see young Kira?"
I nodded. "What else would i be here for?"
The watchman opened the gate and let us all through. "Good to have you back, sirs."

"Wow," Shylo gasped in aw. "You guys are really popular!" I rolled my eyes. "Well, duh, of course they are. They're the King's sons, of course." "Oh, I knew that." "Sure you did."

We walked into the main hall, which was this incredibly huge crystal dome the showed the sky at night and windows out into the courtyard. I was glancing around, when suddenly there was a loud shout.
"DREY!"
Kira came running out of nowhere and crashed into my arms, her golden-brown hair flying and tears flinging from her emerald green eyes.
I hugged her tight.
"Dreyden Istalri, don't you ever leave me again!" she sobbed, burrying her face in my chest. This much pain...I caused her this much...
"I'm sorry," i purred guiltily, stroking her hair.
"I was so worried..."
"I know, i'm sorry. Punish me."
She punched me lightly in the chest, then kissed my cheek. "You know i can't do that," she hiccupped. Then, wiping her eyes, she spotted Seth and his brother. Cloud and Falcon kinda hung to the side. "Who's this?" she asked.

"Name's Sethstone Lataos, and this is my brother, Shylo. We're Shapeshifters, and the ones who brought Drey back safely." Shylo was almost jumping up and down. "Yeah, and Big Brother was also created by and evil demon that tried to rule our world!" "Shylo..." "And his name also means Angel of Darkness..." I slapped a paw onto his mouth before he could say anymore. I glared at him, and then looked to Kira. "This is his first time traveling. Sorry for the overreaction." I silently prayed that Shylo had spoken too fast for her to hear everything, but I highly doubted it.

Kira stared blankly, not understanding a word. I chuckled, and then pressed my forehead to hers and gently showed her my memories. Her eyes grew wide, and she said "Oh!" a few times before she smiled at Seth.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Kira. I'm Drey's wife." I kissed her hair, mainly just to hide my face. All these years and i'm still not used to that concept.

I stared, dumbfounded, until Shylo started laughing. I growled and clonked him on the head, knocking him out for a few seconds. I then looked to Drey and Kira. "Okay, why did you not tell me this? I'd never thought..." I shook my head, and sad memories filled my head. "Ugh, never mind." I just couldn't let go of what happend in the past. Seeing Dreyden and Kira together, and hearing of them getting married just brought the memories back. I growled a little, trying to control my anger and sadness. Ever been mad and upset at the same time? It's not a good feeling.

I felt Seth's pain. Sorry, didn't mean bring up bad memories. I never mentioned it before because there really wasn't time, with all that was going on. I should probably also mention-
"Dad!"
Suddenly i was tackled to the ground by some small blur. I looked to see who was on my chest and saw a little mini-me. I smiled.
"Drake!" Kira scolded. "How many times have i told you not to do that!?"
-I have kids.

"Kids!" I almost screamed my head off. Shylo sat up and laughed, "You should have kids by now too, Seth." That hit me, hard. After what had happened, I had sworn to myself never to fall in love again. I would have to tell Drey, or else I'd be depressed this entire trip. Of course, I had to tell him when his kids weren't around. Kids. Man, how far behind in my life I was.

I wanted to say something to cheer Seth up, because i could feel his depression hit hard, but Drake was practically begging for my attention.
"Dad! Dad! I can breathe fire for almost a whole minute!" Drake turned into dragon form and took a deep breath. He let it out in a big burst, nearly catching Kira who moved out of the way just in time, and struggled to hold it until it sputtered out. I laughed.
"You gotta control the stream. Don't let it out in one big bang, okay?"
"Okay!"
Thankfully, Kira caught on to Seth faster than i thought.
You're not behind, Seth, she told gently him through mind speak. You're right where you belong; give it time.

I gave her a look of thanks, and said to them quietly in mindspeak, I know, but it's something that happened in the past that stopped me. Shylo hung his head. "I know that memory."

She sighed, and walked up to Seth. Don't let the past forever rule your life. Learn to move on, else you'll never get anywhere. Drey had sworn never to love because of what he became, so that he wouldn't have to have the worry of hurting. He was always closed up around me until he finally realized he was only making it worse. Kira picked up one of his paws and sent a little magic pulse around them. Then she smiled. You'll have a beautiful future by doing so.
