The Misadventures of Seth and Drey

"Interesting... so, now what?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. Figure out where we are?"

"Good point."

I stood up. "So, should we go explore?"

"Lead the way, bro." Okay, that felt awkward.

I stared at him. "Um, don't do that again, k? Stick with bud."

I slapped my forehead. "Sorry, just kinda slipped out. Still kind of bewildered, here."

I smiled. "It's okay, just wierd."
I walked forward, and tripped, falling flat on my face.

I tried not to laugh. "Hey, that's my trick!"

I just ignored him, grumbling, and got back up to look at what i tripped over.
Suddenly there was a snap, and the next i knew i was dangling in a weird net hanging from a tree.
"What the heck?!" I exclaimed, and tried to rip it apart. "I can't break it!" And how on earth did i miss such an old fasion cliche trap?!
ANd then i heard voices running towards us.
"One of the traps sprang!"
"Do you think we finally caught one?"

I looked in the direction of the voices. "Oh, crud."

OOC: haha, i'm already laughing!

two young boys appeared in the clearing wearing what looked like weird wild life jumpsuits. Their attention was directed at me, who was swinging from a tree and couldn't get out. Man, what an embarresing position, and i even wasted their trap.
One of them held up a scanner, and his eyes lit up. "Yes! We got one! We caught another dragon!"
Wait, what? How do they know i'm a dragon?! And what do they mean, caught another one?
"Hey!" i called down. "Let me out of this, will ya?"
They jumped. "It talks! Amazing! We're gonnna get big time dough with this one!"

I started growling. No freakin' way were these idiotic humans going to sell my friend. "Now listen, I don't know who you idiots are, but you're not going to sell him." I said, pointing at Drey.


OOC: Seth is laughing his butt off over here, and me too.

The boys finally noticed Seth. "Oh, does he belong to you? We're sorry!"
"You should really get him a collar, though. If the pound catches him without one they'll take him regardless."
One of them went over to where thenet was tied to and cut it. I dropped down with a painful thump! like a ton of bricks.

"A collar? What the heck are you talking about? Dragons don't wear collars last time I checked." What kind of world was this? So far, it made no sense at all.

The boy cocked his head. "Really? What city are you from?"
The other one put his hand on his shoulder. "Just reset the trap and lets go check the other ones. We're sorry for the mix-up," he said to said. "Maybe we'll see you later?"
And then they left.
I got myself untangled from the net. "Okay, what the heck was that about?"
Then Kragis reappeared. "Aw, it's over? I was having fun watching you swing!"

I rounded on Kragis. "You want me to hang you up there?!" At that moment, Skipper finally rejoined us.
"Yo, what's up?"
"About time you showed up."

I just stared at the trap set up. "How did i not see it...?" I should have been able to scense it a mile away, but...even now, i only know it's there because i saw it be replaced.

Skipper stared at Drey, then his eyes drifted to the trap. "What happened?"
"Long story. So, we should we continue on?"

"Yeah," i said, still a little destracted as we walked on. how? How could i have not sensed it?
"Maybe we should follow those boys?" Kragis suggested. "I'm interested in what they were talking about."
"Because you want to see me get caught again?" i growled.
He stared at me seriously. "No. I think someone strange is up with this place.
"No duh, ya think?"

Skipper nodded in agreement. I looked to Drey and Kragis. "Come on, let's go. I've got a bad feeling about this, too."


OOC: I'm going to bed now. Talk to ya later!

OOC: Alright, goodnight!

I nodded. I had a bad feeling, too.

I started walking off in the direction the boys went. Skipper caught up and started walking beside me. "You don't think it's her again, do you?"
I shook my head. "No, Cassandra wanted to capture Shapeshifters. She wasn't interested in Dragons last I saw her."
"Then who could it be?"
I just shrugged.

"Who's Cassandra?" i asked, walking beside them. To the right a little bluebird chirped and flew off.

I looked at Drey. "Cassandra was the enemy we faced before I ran into you again. She's a regular human who wanted the power of never aging, so she captured us Shapeshifters just to get that magic. We defeated her and she landed in jail, but she won't be in there for too much longer..."


OOC: I'm thinjing of having Cassandra being the main enemy in the Dragon Rage RPG.
