The Misadventures of Seth and Drey: Part Two

You're just now figuring that out? I responded back, standing up again. Don't worry, I'll keep my senses out for him. In the meantime, does this place have a river?

Yeah, why? I asked, a chill going up my spine.

I paused. You know what? I don't know. Something tells me I should check on the water for some reason.

I nodded. Follow me, I'll show you. I stood up, but almost fell from my legs shaking so much. I then leaped off the building and raced in the direction of the park.

I jumped after him, noting the shakiness.

After a while, I halted in the park, and I could barely hear the river flowing nearby. I cautiously went over to the dam that blocked anymore water from the lake to get into the continuously flowing river. "Well, here it is."

OOC: Is this where Drey's gonna find out Seth's only killer?

*Kain returns from lunch and find them at the cliff*

K: hey guys what did i miss?

"Nothing much really. We're just staring at the water."
I don't know why I felt like I should be here. It just seems important for some reason.

I tried hard not to show it, but the sight of the river that took my life all those years ago made me shiver.

K: wow thats one heck of a drop... i wonder how far down it is

*Kain looked at Seth and smiled then he easily put his hand on Seths back and pushed him over the edge*

OOC: Lol, I can see the look on Seth's face! I'm laughing my head off over here!
Seth: I hate you...

I felt Kain's powerful hand on my shoulder, but before I could react, I was already falling towards the water. I did all I could to stop, but I was such a nervous wreck i couldn't even transform. Then, with a loud splash, I hit the freezing water. I lashed out vigorously with my arms and legs. My head broke the surface, but the current pushed me back under again. Not again... I thought to myself. Usually I could swim long enough to paint a lily pad on the water with the Celestial Brush, but the current was too strong to do so this time.

I looked at Kain angrilly. "What'd you do that for?!" I yelled before diving into the river after Seth.

*Kain stood there on the cliff laughing not knowing that he could have just killed Seth*

K: that was to good hahahaha i only wish i had a camera to capture the look on his face

I was beginning to run out of air, until I saw a figure swimming towards me. Cyrus? No, it was too early for that event to happen. As it got closer, I recognized who it was in an instant. Drey!

Hang on buddy, I've got ya. I grabbed ahold around his waist and kicked back to the surface of the water. The current was pretty strong, but I could get both our heads above water. "You okay?"

I coughed up some water. "Just get me to shore."

"Alright, hang on a sec." I reached out an arm and dug my fingers hard into the edges of the steep bank and shoved him up enough to get a grip on land. Then I proceeded in pulling myself up too, wet and bedraggled.

*Kain walked up to them*

K: what wrong with you?

I spat up some more water, and I barelt lifted my head to glare up at Kain. "You nearly killed me, you damn dog."

K: what are you talking about i thought you bee suposed to be invinsable

I sighed heavily, my lungs still filled with a little water. "We Shapeshifters might seem invincible, but we all have our weakness."

K: so what yours is water?

I nodded weakly. "Deep water. The thing that can kill a Shapeshifter permanantly... Is the thing that killed them in their past life."

K: so you died by drowning?

*Kain looked as if he had just discoverd somthing he had found the missing piece to his idea*

"Yes.." I saw the look in Kain's eye. "What are you thinking?"
